Attorney Jeong-ik Oh of One Law Partners, LLC has participated in research and academic activities aimed at advancing the professional guardianship system and strengthening practical expertise.

On September 21, 2026, Attorney Oh participated as a discussant in the presentation and discussion forum on the “Study on the Standardization of Professional Guardian Compensation Systems and Guidelines for Compensation Claims,” held at YK Law Firm’s Gangnam office. The event was organized by the Institute for Supported Decision-Making of the Korea Guardianship Association to review the current compensation system for professional guardians and discuss measures for establishing reasonable compensation standards and compensation claim guidelines.

During the panel discussion, Attorney Oh joined Professor In-hwan Park of Inha University Law School, Jun-ki Park, President of the Korean Association of Guardianship Social Workers, and Choong-Hee Lee, Secretary General of the Korea Adult Guardianship Support Center, in exchanging views on the stable operation of the professional guardianship system and practical measures for improvement.

On September 28, 2026, Attorney Oh also participated as a presenter at the 18th Guardianship Case Study Meeting hosted by the Korea Guardianship Association.
Attorney Oh delivered a presentation entitled “Guardianship Support in Cases Involving Management Control Disputes and Severe Family Conflicts Among Children,” sharing practical experience and key issues encountered in actual guardianship cases.

Also Attorney Jeong-ik Oh has handled numerous inheritance and guardianship matters and previously served as the overall manager for the limited guardian in the limited guardianship case involving former Lotte Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho.
