On August 11, 2026, Attorney Jeong-ik Oh of One Law Partners, LLC participated as a speaker at the 2026 Joint Workshop on Digital Service Opening, jointly organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Information Society Agency (NIA).
 

The Digital Service Opening Initiative is a government policy designed to enable citizens to access public services and cultural heritage-related platforms through mobile-based private-sector applications.
 

Previously, many public services were available only through government-operated applications or websites.
Under this initiative, however, public services are being made accessible through widely used private platforms such as KakaoTalk and Naver, allowing citizens to utilize government services through applications with which they are already familiar.
 

The initiative aims to provide faster and more convenient access to administrative services by integrating public services into the digital platforms most frequently used in everyday life.

This workshop was held for companies participating in the 2026 Digital Service Opening initiative and related utilization projects, pursuant to Article 21 of the Electronic Government Act, Article 17 of its Enforcement Decree, and Article 11 of the Regulations on the Provision of Electronic Public Services Through the Utilization of Private Sector Services.

Attorney Jeong-ik Oh delivered a presentation at the workshop on the topic of “Digital Service Opening and Personal Information Protection: Key Issues and Practical Case Studies.”
