Since the emergence of AlphaGo and the acceleration of the Fourth Industrial Revolution following the spread of contactless and remote social culture due to COVID-19, Attorney Jung-ik Oh has been actively engaged in legal work related to the application of digital technologies—including artificial intelligence—and the improvement of legal systems and regulations concerning the Personal Information Protection Act. He has participated in various government committees and national research projects addressing these issues.

He has provided legal counsel and handled litigation for numerous administrative agencies, including the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Chungcheongnam-do, Seodaemun-gu, and Mapo-gu, particularly in matters related to the National Land Planning Act and the Urban Redevelopment Act. He also has extensive experience advising corporations on administrative dispositions such as building permits and has represented clients in related litigation. Additionally, he has handled numerous disciplinary litigation cases involving institutions such as the Financial Supervisory Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Attorney Oh has also worked on labor law matters, including legal reviews of HR issues in major transactions such as the Dubai Investment Authority’s acquisition of Ssangyong Engineering & Construction, S&K Polytech’s acquisition of RT Electronics, and the IPO of Spackman Entertainment Group on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He has advised on and litigated various cases involving disciplinary actions, dismissals, and wage disputes. Recently, he successfully represented Seoul Metro in a lawsuit concerning the wage peak system, a contentious issue among public institutions.

In addition, he is active in family law, handling matters related to adult guardianship, division of inherited property, and compulsory share claims, providing both legal counsel and litigation services in inheritance-related disputes.
