Attorney KANG, JUNG-WOO served as the Judge Advocate General (Chief of the ROKN Judicial Branch) of the ROK Navy and assumed important posts in the military such as the Chief of the ROKN Military Court, the Chief Judge at the High Military Court of Korea, the Chief Prosecutor at the Prosecutor’s Office of the Ministry of National Defense, and the Staff Judge Advocate at ROK Fleet Command and Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). Furthermore, he acquired a Ph. D. degree in law (majored in corporation law), with a high level of expertise in corporate laws apart from his deep knowledge in defense and military areas. He also acquired a Master's degree in law from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, United States, and has the ability to resolve international legal issues based on his understanding of the United States Law.
