Lee Young-joo, a lawyer at One Law Partners, an agent of the constitutional petition, said, "The fact that there is a ruling globally that recognizes the infringement of basic rights in relation to the climate crisis means that the Constitution orders the state's active role in responding to the climate crisis," adding, "The duty to disclose climate is the minimum protective measure to protect the people's property rights and environmental rights while encouraging companies to participate in responding to the climate crisis.".
